Prep girls soccer: Shorecrest 2, Shorewood 1

SHORELINE -- Kate Hildahl rebounded in a missed free kick in the second half to break a 1-1 tie and get the Wesco 3A South win for Shorecrest during the Scot's homecoming week. It was also a special week for Shorewood, as the school honored Lori Henry by retiring her Jersey. Henry was a 1984 graduate of Shorewood, played for the University of North Carolina, and was the youngest original member of the US womens national team in 1985 at 19 years old according to Shorewood head coach Bill Wilkins.
At Shoreline Stadium
Goals--Zoe Vincini (SW), Alexa Iacolucci (SC), Kate Hildahl (SC). Assists--Carrie Jensen (SW). Goalkeepers--Shorecrest: Frida Swensen. Shorewood: Ashley Garay. Records--Shorecrest 6-1-2 league, 8-2-2 overall. Shorewood 4-4-1, 5-4-3.
