SNOHOMISH -- Taylor Morrell and Ellie Otteson each scored goal early in the first half and the Panthers clinched a second straight Wesco 4A North Division title with a win over Monroe.
"We're not done, this is not our ultimate goal," said Snohomish head coach April VanAssche. "But it's fun to defend (our title) with such a young team and shows the kind of leadership our veteran players have provided."
Morrell scored in the ninth minute from a Morgan Green assist and Kaytlin Willis setup Otteson five minutes later to give the Panthers a two-goal cushion. Green added the third goal in the 80th minute and overall, Snohomish outshot the Bearcats 27-4.
