Here's a fun and free way for your preschooler to be introduced to music, a second language, yoga and rhythm all in the same program.

Imagine Children's Museum is offering "The FUNdamentals of Music and Movement" free with admission through October.

These 30-minute sessions are geared for ages 18 months through 5 years.

This brand new bilingual music program will be lead by museum educator Marco Cortes.

The program was developed by Aaron Nigel Smith, star of the PBS program "Between the Lions."

"FUNdamentals" teaches rhythm, music theory and yoga through songs, games and creative movement. The program is taught in English and Spanish and can be an introduction to music for your child or supplement an ongoing arts education. It features new content every week of the year, according to press material.

This new series is free with museum admission in October and takes place at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. every Sunday.

Imagine Children's Museum is open Tuesday through Sunday until 5 p.m. at 1502 Wall St., Everett. Admission is $9 per person, and children younger than 12 months are admitted free. Call 425-258-1006 or go to www.ImagineCM.org.

"FUNdamentals" will also be taught by Kelly Baughman as part of the Me and My Shadow preschool program.

The program will be taught at 9 and 10:30 a.m. Mondays at the museum beginning Monday. Me and My Shadow features exclusive museum play time and interaction with live animals, as well as the "FUNdamentals of Music and Movement."

The cost is $162.50 for members or $216 for nonmembers. The program will run 10 weeks through Dec. 17.
