Prep girls soccer: Cascade 2, Edmonds-Woodway 1

EDMONDS -- Megan Henry and Rachel Detroit each scored a goal in the second half to help the Bruins knock off Wesco 4A South-leading Edmonds-Woodway.
Henry converted a penalty kick in the 56th minute and with the Warriors pressing for an equalizer, Cascade capitalized on a counter-attack nine minutes later with Claire Nelson feeding Detroit for the eventual game-winning score. Ashleigh Fonson pulled one back for Edmonds-Woodway in the 78th, but Cascade held on to preserve the win.
The Bruins now trail the Warriors by just three points in the 4A South standings with three matches to go in the regular season.
