SPANAWAY -- The Pierce County sheriff's office says a man posing as a deliveryman broke into a Spanaway home Friday and stabbed a woman.
Sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer said the man was in a brown uniform and carrying a box.
The intruder tied up the 57-year-old woman, stabbed her and fled in her car.
Troyer said deputies have found her car but continue looking for the man.
The woman was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
