Local coho

Still fair numbers of coho being taken in local saltwater, even though the run is on the decline. Checks at the Port of Everett ramp on Saturday tallied 10 silvers for 47 anglers and, on Sunday, five for 34 anglers.

Beach fishermen at different spots continued to take a few coho as well. At Deception Pass, 10 anglers on Saturday were checked with two coho, and on Sunday, 10 had one fish.
