GRANITE FALLS -- Courteney Loesche scored four minutes into the first overtime period to lift Granite Falls to a victory against Bellingham in the opening round of the District 1/2 2A tournament. After the Red Raiders' Larkyn Nelson and the Tigers' Kaila Green traded first half goals, Loesche got on the end of a Annie Hart corner kick and powered a header from 10 yards into the Bellingham net. The Tigers will play the winner of Cedarcrest-Sehome on Tuesday for a state playoff berth.

Goals--Larkyn Nelson (B), Kaila Green (GF), Courteney Loesche (GF). Assists--Melissa Hutchinson (GF), Annie Hart (GF). Goalkeepers--Granite Falls: Courtney Young. Bellingham: Hannah Jacobus. Records--Bellingham 9-7-1 overall. Granite Falls 10-7.
