Who doesn’t love to curl up with a good book? First you have to get cozy with librarian extraordinaire Nancy Pearl, and you’ll come away with a list of books to last through the dark days.
Nancy Pearl is the only librarian we know who has an action figure.
The “Book Lust” author will talk about her latest lineup of must-reads as well as offering suggestions for your holiday gift lists at 11 a.m Nov. 7 at the Whidbey Island Center for the Arts in Langley.
Get there at 10:30 a.m. for coffee, cookies and chatting before the program.
The Whidbey Center for the Arts is at 565 Camano Ave., Langley.
No sign up is necessary, but call Pam Owen at 360-221-8601 for more information. The program is presented by the Friends of Langley Library.
