The driver of the vehicle that struck the woman, 54, remained at the scene and was cooperative with investigators, Snohomish County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.
The accident was reported about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The roadway was closed for several hours while detectives investigated.
