Published:
WENATCHEE -- A man killed in a collision Oct. 23 near Chelan has been identified as an orchard worker from Mexico.
Chelan County Coroner Wayne Harris said Moises Gonzalez Morales, 25, was misidentified after the crash because he carried another man's wallet.
Harris released the correct identification Monday after checking the name and photo with others at the orchard where he worked.
The man lived with the Chelan woman who also died in the Highway 97A crash along with her 4-year-old son.
