Football | Arlington
The Eagles quarterback threw three touchdowns and rushed for 101 yards in the Arlington's 21-14 upset victory over fourth-ranked Kentwood in a quad-district playoff game on Friday night.
Counting the votes: Lake Stevens RB Austin Otis won the fan vote and received a vote from Herald writer Rich Myhre. Herald prep editor Aaron Swaney and Herald prep writers David Krueger and Mike Allende voted for Elgarico. Herald writer Aaron Lommers voted for Conor Plaisance.

Girls soccer | Cascade
The Bruins forward scored in both of her team's victories in the 4A District 1 tournament as Cascade took the district championship.

The Bearcats setter averaged more than 40 assists in wins over Lynnwood and Kamiak as Monroe advanced to the championship game of the 4A District 1 tournament and qualified for the upcoming state tournament.

The Tomahawks swimmer won the 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke and helped two MP relay teams (200 medley and 200 freestyle) qualify for state in Northwest 3A District 1 Swim and Dive meet.

Girls cross country | Glacier Peak
In her final official high school meet, the Grizzlies runner won the 3A individual state championship in a time of 17 minutes, 3.6 seconds and lead Glacier Peak to its second team state title in three years. She also verbally committed to run cross country for the University of Washington.

Boys cross country | Jackson
The Timberwolves harrier was the highest local finisher at the boys cross country state meet in Pasco over the weekend. Roe ran the 5,000-meter course in 15:35.7 to lead Jackson to a seventh-place finish.
