If you are parents of preschoolers, you are probably well aware of Kiki, Shout, Twist and Marina.

They are the fresh-faced members of The Fresh Beat Band, the popular preschool music band and the stars of their own Nickelodeon TV series of the same name.

You parents may not be aware that the band added a second leg to its nationwide concert tour and is coming to Everett’s Comcast Arena on Saturday.

The Fresh Beat Band Live in Concert Tour features music hits from seasons one, two and three of the Nickelodeon live-action TV series.

The concert features band members Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer as Kiki, Thomas Hobson as Shout, Tara Perry as Marina and Jon Beavers as Twist.

Concert songs will include “Here We Go,” “A Friend Like You,” “Bananas” and “Just Like a Rock Star.”

The Fresh Beat Band show teaches preschoolers about music appreciation, rhythm, melody, tempo and other musical themes while band members solve their current pressing problem.

The Fresh Beat Band debuted in 2009 and is centered on these four best friends who are in a band. In each episode, preschoolers sing and dance along as they help The Fresh Beat Band solve everyday challenges.

Preschoolers learn the importance of friendship, working together and respecting each other’s differences, according to press material about the concert.

The Fresh Beat Band performs at 5 p.m. Saturday at Comcast Arena, 2000 Hewitt Ave., Everett.

Tickets are $37.50. Call 866-332-8499 or online at www.comcastarenaeverett.com.
