Sing it forward: Guests of the Village Theatre's "Sing it Forward Soiree" will be entertained by Jessica Skerrit while giving to a good cause.
Proceeds from the "Sing it Forward Soiree" will benefit Village Theatre's Youth Education and Outreach Scholarship
Programs to help pay or defray the costs for young people who want to be part of that program.
Also on tap for the soiree are Kidstage performers as well as Ellen McLain, whom video gamers will know as the voice of the homicidal computer, GLaDOS, of the Portal series.
The soiree kicks off at 6:30 p.m. with appetizers; the concert begins at 7:30 p.m. with a dessert reception to follow at 8:45 p.m. Saturday.
Tickets are $60 presale and $75 at the door at the new Village Theatre Second Stage, 2730 Wetmore Ave., Everett.

The event is planned at Langley Fire Station 34, 820 Camano Avenue, across the road from the fairgrounds. People are encouraged to register early.
