Cook in style with Edmonds painter's Italian-inspired aprons

Sign up for Weekend to-do list
Sometimes we need a little inspiration in the kitchen. Mama mia, who doesn't?

Edmonds watercolor artist Joel Patience is an amateur chef who travels to Italy for his inspiration. But you don't have to.

The Wooden Spoon kitchen store, 104 Fifth Ave. S., Edmonds has teamed up with artist Joel Patience to sell kitchen aprons. These aprons sport Patience's well-known painting, "Gelati Stop," a quaint ice cream cafe in Italy.

The aprons come in a bounty of colors: lemon, kumquat, Bali blue, verde green or London gray.

Bellissimo.
