Convert a dresser into a fort for Fido

  • Brian Patrick Flynn / Diynetwork.com

You love your dog, and you want him to have a comfy spot near the family. But you are sick. of. tripping. over. the. dog. bed.
Here's a solution for a cool dog fort that includes storage for Barkley's treats and toys. Use an old five- or six-drawer dresser, one you already have or a flea market find. Take out the bottom two or three drawers and place a plump pillow or cozy dog bed in the hidey-hole. Voila!
You can use the drawers for Fido's equipment, or, if Fido is a minimalist, for whatever else needs stashing. Don't be surprised if your toddler decides this is a nice spot for a nap.
