Music and film come together in Everett

This Thursday night the Historic Everett Theater will host the Soul United Film Festival. This film festival will have a heavy musical influence. Music videos will be shown by local artists like The Moondoggies and The True Spokes as well as short films.

There will also be live music performances by Everett band The Staxx Brothers and organist Sharon Stearnes. I recently spoke to Davin Stedman of The Staxx Brothers who has played a large role in making this night happen and his passion and excitement surrounding the event is enough to make me want to be there.

This is an all ages event with a $6 entry fee or $5 if you bring a can of food. All proceeds from the night go toward saving the Historic Everett Theater. I can't think of a better way to spend a Thursday night in Everett.
