Council listened to bus fare concern

I would like to say to the Everett City Council thank you for hearing our concern, and the other gentleman's concern, who came to speak on Oct. 31 about Everett Transit's proposal to raise bus fares by 25 cents. The council heard our concern, but the council voted 6 to 1 to approve the increase. I truly believed if we had more support, we would make a huge impact on the council. I spoke up on what I believe. The one vote against was the Council President Ron Gipson -- thank you, sir. That's what I love about our country -- freedom. If the issue that I don't think is right, then I have the right speak up.
