A snowy owl paid a visit to Everett High School on Tuesday. It was nonchalant as crows tried to drive it from its perch.

Snowy owls are winter visitors to our area from the arctic. Last year, an exceptionally large number of owls visited. You can read stories about that here and here. We also have a really stunning gallery of photos from British Columbia here.

Our photographer Mark Mulligan would like to take more photos of the owls as they show up in our area. If you see any, you can give him a call at 425-339-3462.

If you have photos of snowy owls or other wildlife you'd like to share, we'd love to see them. You can see other readers' photos and share your own here.
