Herald apology

Article was another hit piece

I feel The Herald owes an apology to the citizens of this state that did not choose to vote for President Obama. I was saddened to see the Herald stoop so low as to put an article from the owner of the newspaper, The Washington Post, on the second page of Section A on Oct. 9 entitled "Pundits who got election wrong."

The article started with "Elections make fools of pundits and prognosticators..." then proceeded to mock people who predicted Romney's win. Romney made a gracious speech wishing Obama the best and asking that the country come together. Those of us who supported Romney, McKenna, and Koster are heartbroken that negative ads and lies are allowed to defeat candidates whether they be Democrats or Republicans.

My question, what was there about this article The Herald felt was newsworthy? It was another hit piece pure and simple, and contributed nothing to healing this country.
