Stanwood man killed in 1-car crash

LAKE GOODWIN -- A Stanwood man, 66, was killed Sunday night in a one-car accident along Highway 531, just north of Lake Goodwin.

Timothy G. Robinson was westbound in a 2000 Dodge Caravan about 9 p.m. when he reportedly missed a curve, according to a Washington State Patrol memo.

The minivan drove off the roadway, stopping in a nearby ditch, near the intersection with 34th Avenue NW, according to the memo.

Robinson died at the scene. No injuries to others were reported.

The cause of the crash remained under investigation Monday.
