This Japanese maple is called Boskoop Glory.

WHAT: This deciduous Japanese maple (Acer Palmatum "Boskoop Glory") is both deer resistant and sun tolerant.
Branches sweep down in layers and the new leaves are burgundy in color, changing to bronze as the season moves into summer and finally bright red/orange in the fall.
It is a spectacular focal point in any residential garden, either as a stand alone tree or against a background of evergreens.
SUN OR SHADE: Boskoop Glory is very tolerant of sun, a quality that many other Japanese maples do not share. When this tree is in its fall color, and is situated in a sunny location, it is an extraordinary sight.
SIZE: At 20 by 30 feet, it is an excellent choice for residential gardens.
