EVERETT -- An Arlington man, 39, was expected to survive after rolling his pickup on southbound I-5 in Everett on Friday evening.

The crash was reported just before 5 p.m. on I-5, north of the Highway 526 exit, according to Washington State Patrol trooper Keith Leary.

The man's 2002 Ford F250 reportedly was speeding and crossing multiple lanes when it side-swiped a passenger car. No one in the car was seriously injured.

The impact sent the truck across and off the highway, where it rolled over.

The man was unconscious when crews arrived, Leary said. He was expected to be taken to a local hospital. He was in stable condition.

The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
