Blaze in Marysville damages mobile home

MARYSVILLE -- A Marysville mobile home was heavily damaged in a fire early Friday morning.

The fire was reported just before 1:45 a.m. at Glenwood Mobile Estates along 64th Street NE, said Jeff Cole, a battalion chief with the Marysville Fire District.

The home was in flames as crews arrived, he said. They remained on scene until about 4:30 a.m. No injuries were reported.

The Snohomish County chapter of the American Red Cross was assisting a 71-year-old woman who lived at the home, officials said. The woman was given food, clothing, medication and counseling.

The cause of the fire remained under investigation.

Firefighters also responded from Getchell and Silvana.
