Unlike most seasons when late-season injury reports can be a cause for concern, the Seahawks left for Miami with every player on the active roster available for game action.
Defensive tackle Red Bryant, who sat out Thursday’s practice with a foot injury, was back on Friday and he, like everyone else who showed up on the injury report, was listed as probable.
“He looked good,” Carroll said. “He’s on the list as probable and he looks like he can go.”
Guard James Carpenter, who missed the past two games with a concussion, practiced fully for the second straight day, though Carroll indicated he has not yet decided whether Carpenter or John Moffitt would start at left guard.
“That’ll be a game-time decision, but James did make it through the week, he had a good week,” Carroll said. “He’ll be listed as probable and we’ll figure that out come Sunday.”
Figuring out who to start because everyone is healthy is a nice luxury to have at this time of year for Carroll. In recent years, the Seahawks have signed out-of-work linemen midseason and thrown them into the starting lineup. On Sunday they’ll be sitting either Carpenter or Moffitt, both of whom have significant starting experience.
“The whole roster is OK in that regard,” Carroll said. “We’re really pleased that we have everybody available and can make these choices. Sometimes you’re kind of scrambling to figure out who you’re going to put up, but that’s not the case right now.”
Cornerback Walter Thurmond, who was activated from the physically unable to perform list earlier this month, could see his first game action on Sunday.
“He’s done fine, and he’s ready to go,” Carroll said. “He can play for us in this game. That all goes to game-time for us.”
Cornerback Brandon Browner went to the ground late in practice and appeared to be limping a bit, but Carroll said Browner was OK.
