Arlene Runberg (left) and Marcie Larson react as they meet Carter, one of 10 Budweiser Clydesdales staying at the stables at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds on Friday afternoon. Both women came to the stables with their fellow residents of the Harbour Pointe Retirement & Assisted Living Center in Mukilteo. The famous horses will be harnessed and hitched to the red beer wagon during a public event from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Arlington Walmart. The public can see the Clydesdales at the stables from 9 a.m. to approximately noon today and Sunday.
