EVERETT -- Police believe the same young woman could be responsible for at least three espresso stand robberies in the Everett area this month.

The most recent robbery occurred about 6:30 p.m. Monday at 533 128th St. SW, south of Everett. A woman approached an espresso stand and threatened the barista with "a large kitchen knife," Snohomish County sheriff's spokeswoman Shari Ireton said. The woman then fled the area in a red pickup.

A similar robbery was reported about 9:30 p.m. Nov. 20 at the BigFoot Java stand on Everett Mall Way. The description of the knife and the truck appear to match, Ireton said.

A similar red truck also was reported to be the getaway car after a woman held up an espresso stand about 4:30 p.m. Nov. 17 at the same location along 128th St. SW as Monday's robbery.

A white woman in her 20s flashed a knife at the barista and handed over a threatening note, Ireton said.

The woman was wearing a blue plaid hoodie-style sweatshirt and sunglasses. She reportedly had facial piercings.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information should call police at 425-388-3845.
