The fire was reported just before 10:50 a.m. in the 17800 block of 64th Ave. W., officials said. Damage was limited to the garage, which had been converted into living space.
Crews on Monday still were evaluating the extent of the damage, they said. The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
Firefighters responded from Lynnwood and Snohomish County Fire District 1.
