Cascade High School, Everett, WA, is proud to introduce its second class of the Cascade Athletics Hall of Fame.
In coordination with the 50th anniversary of the first graduating class at Cascade High School, we will be inducting nine members – two coaches, six athletes, and one family of athletes and coaches – to join the inaugural class of six coaches who were inducted three years ago.

These nine inductees represent the rich history of Bruin Athletics ideals and successes on the fields, courts, and tracks of Cascade High School. Their reign at Cascade spans the five decades of Bruin Pride, from Jeff Cushman and Lou Stevenson of the first days on the new Cascade campus in the early '60's to the mid 2000's for the six state championships of Whitney Hooks.
“The School of Pride” will honor these Cascade coaching and athletic legends during a ceremony between the Cascade versus Everett boys and girls varsity basketball games on Friday, November 30th, 2012 at the Reg Scodeller Gymnasium, Cascade High School. The girls basketball game will tip-off at 5:30pm followed by the hall of fame induction ceremony at approximately 7:00pm between the contests. The boys game will tip-off at 8:00pm.
This year's honorees were nominated by the community and selected by the Hall of Fame Committee whose members include former and current coaches, administrators, teachers, and students. Those selected for the Coaches Hall of Fame needed to demonstrate a continued commitment and promotion of the values and philosophy of sportsmanship including fairness, dedication, perseverance, winning without boasting and losing without excuse.
