OLYMPIA — The state Parks and Recreation Commission is promoting the Discover Pass as a holiday gift idea.
A new option allows a choice in the starting date for the annual parking pass.
The $30 pass is available at stores that also sell fishing and hunting licenses. The money helps pay for operating state parks and recreation lands owned by the Fish and Wildlife Department and the Department of Natural Resources.
