MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- The Memphis Grizzlies are sending rookie guard Tony Wroten to their NBA Development League affiliate, the Reno Bighorns.
General manager Chris Wallace announced the move Tuesday.
The 6-foot-6 Wroten has played in three games so far for the Grizzlies, and he's had one rebound and one steal in that time. Memphis is off to the NBA's best start at 10-2.
The Grizzlies drafted the 19-year-old Wroten with the 25th pick overall in June after he played one college season at the University of Washington, where he averaged 16 points and 3.7 assists in college.
