EDMONDS -- An Edmonds man, 55, was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon after being struck by a car.
The man was crossing 76th Avenue W, just east of Highway 99, about 4:45 p.m., officials said. He was not in a crosswalk.
He was struck by a southbound vehicle driven by a 20-year-old Edmonds man. The driver was not injured.
The older man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment of a leg injury. He is expected to survive.
