Santa on parade
Join Rotary of Mill Creek, Mill Creek Parks & Recreation and Mill Creek Town Center merchants for the annual Santa Claus is Coming to Town parade and tree lighting at City Hall and Town Center on Saturday.
A few highlights from the event include musical performances by the Jackson High School jazz band and drumline, Disney characters, carolers, cookie decorating, carriage rides and Santa and his elves and live reindeer.
There will be photo opportunities with Santa in Town Center following the tree lighting event. Bring your cameras and add to your family memories.
The parade on Main Street starts at 3:30 p.m. The tree lighting at Mill Creek City Hall is at 4:30 p.m. The Mill Creek Town Center celebration runs from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

Marysville firefighters help those in need: Marysville Firefighters and Santa plan to gather food again this year for the Marysville Community Food Bank. They will be at Safeway, 1258 State Ave. 3 to 7 p.m. on Dec. 5, 6, and 7.
Santa will be there with candy canes for the kids (and adults too)!
Firefighters and Santa will gladly accept your donation of food, unwrapped toys or cash donations.
During this time of year the Marysville Community Food Bank relies even more so on the community's spirit of giving to ensure that families can celebrate the holiday season. Without your generous support these families will not be able to have a joyous holiday season.
