EVERETT -- High-tide warnings are in place throughout Puget Sound through 9 a.m. Friday.
All coastal areas may see tidal flooding, including places in Snohomish and Island counties, according to the National Weather Service.
"We have some really high tides," meteorologist Jeff Michalski said Thursday.
Any flooding is predicted to be minor, but could be worsened by high winds forecast for coastal areas. Low-lying roadways and homes could be affected.
People who live close to the shore may want to move valuable property to higher ground.
