Lynnwood man hospitalized after stabbing

LYNNWOOD -- Detectives are investigating a stabbing reported Wednesday night in the Lynnwood area.

A Lynnwood man, 45, was hospitalized with multiple stab wounds, Snohomish County sheriff's spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.

Police were called to a home in the 3800 block of 156th Street SW about 8:30 p.m., she said. There were multiple 911 calls from the area, including from a neighbor who reported hearing three men fighting.

The victim was conscious when police arrived. The severity of his injuries wasn't immediately clear.

The Major Crimes Unit was on scene until about 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Ireton said.

No arrests had been made as of mid-morning.
