Seattle rafter missing on Idaho river is found safe

GRANGEVILLE, Idaho -- The Idaho County sheriff's office says a Seattle man overdue on a Snake River rafting trip has been found safe.
The sheriff's office said Alexander Belyaev, 54, was found Wednesday morning on the river.
The man reportedly left the Hells Canyon Dam area last Friday, planning to raft to Pittsburg Landing where he had left his vehicle. Belyaev was reported overdue when he did not return to work on Tuesday.
Sheriff's officers found the man's vehicle at Pittsburg Landing and searched the river by boat on Tuesday, then resumed the search Wednesday.
