Prep wrestling: George Yonlick Tournament

BELLINGHAM -- Marysville Getchell wrestlers Cody Stone and Billy Almachar each went undefeated in four matches at the George Yonlick Tournament in Bellingham on Saturday. Stone, wrestling at 170 pounds, won all his bouts with first-rounds pins. Almachar recorded three pins and a 5-3 decision in the 120-pound weight class. As a team, the Chargers finished 1-3, winning 50-22 over Bellingham in the opening contest, before losing three straight to Burlington-Edison, Sehome and Mount Vernon.
