Ship: Help send extra candy to troops

A post-Halloween effort to send candy to troops serving overseas saw sweet success.

Local Treats for Troops organizers hauled in more than three-quarters of a ton worth of candy. They’ve shipped 875 pounds of that in 49 boxes so far but still have around 150 boxes to ship and need help with shipping costs.

Each package costs $13.45 to send. That works out to more than $2,000 needed.
