Benghazi

Was there outrage over other deaths?

I take exception to the Tuesday letter, "Congress must call for inquiry," regarding the killings of diplomatic personnel at the Benghazi consulate (not at the Embassy, where more protection was available.)
Is the writer, and so many of his opinion, also interested in why we had a war in Iraq (initiated by the Bush hierarchy); where over 5,000 U.S. Service personnel were killed (with over 100,000 injured/crippled, not to mention all the civilians). Are they also indignant of the billions of dollars spent for that war that was never proven to be needed? Does the writer also point to the costs of that war as contributing to our nation's deficit?
Of course not, because he, along with others are bemoaning the loss as a result of a free and fair election. I am certain that to the writer and his like-minded citizens, the Benghazi killings would have hardly been a footnote had it occurred under an administration of their liking.
I am sad that these people died in Benghazi and my heart is with their families. But my heart is also for the all the veterans who died or who carry physical and emotional scars for a war that was the manifestation of the previous administration and the 3 percent who made much in profit, paid with the blood by members of the 47 percent.
