Live holiday music Pacifica Chamber Orchestra’s upcoming concert is a season favorite. This year’s concert is Sunday afternoon in Everett. The program is fun and festive, and includes music by Vaughn-Williams, Mozart, Haydn, Ostijn and Telemann. To add to the festive atmosphere, the concert includes a carol sing along. Following the performance, the audience can meet the Pacifica members over holiday cookies and beverages. More information here.

Get in the holiday spirit: The 12th annual Christmas Spectacular is at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Everett Civic Auditorium, 2416 Colby Ave. The event features TV personality Brian Tracey and musician Dehner Franks. There will be a talent show, live music and entertainment. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $15 online or at the door.

Shop local: An artists Christmas Sale is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday to Saturday and 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at 21302 Echo Lake Road, Snohomish. The event will offer a selection of paintings by artists who have painted Northwest scenes for more than 20 years along with note cards, cookie boxes, knit hats and jewelry. Laugh: Comedy improv teams will battle for the top spot in a tournament at 8:05 p.m. Saturday at Black Box Theatre at Edmonds Community College, 20000 68th Ave. W, Lynnwood. Tickets are $10, online or at the door.
Run: A Santa Dash is on Saturday in Stanwood. The 5K Fun Run and Walk starts at 8 a.m. Saturday at the old Thrifty store, 8815 272nd St. NW, downtown. Santas of all ages will be running around Stanwood and all are invited to join the fun. Participants can run, jog, walk, dance, roll or jingle your way to the finish line. Race timing chips will be provided. Cost is $15 for early registration or $20 the day of the race.
