PUYALLUP — Two intruders shot to death Thursday by a Puyallup homeowner have not yet been identified.
Pierce County sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer says they were not recognized by deputies.
The medical examiner’s office is conducting autopsies Friday and checking fingerprints.
Detectives continue to investigate the shooting as well as the marijuana growing operation found in the home.
The 35-year-old homeowner is free while the prosecutor decides whether to file charges.
Troyer says the man’s 9-year-old son who was inside at the time of the shootout is with his family.
