Seahawks 58, Cardinals 0, by the numbers

Man was that one lopsided. Or as Cardinals QB John Skelton put it, it was, "an old-fashioned ass kicking."

Hard to argue with that assessment after the Seahawks used eight turnovers, including scores on defense and special teams, to beat Arizona 58-0.

So how lopsided was this? Let's let the numbers do the talking, though Arizona coach Ken Whisenhunt also summed it up well, opening his press conference saying, "I want to apologize to our fans and everybody associated with our organization. That was embarrassing today."

58--Points scored by Seattle, the most in franchise history, topping a 56-point outing in 1977.

8--Takeaways by the Seahawks on defense and special teams, the most since 1998 and tied for the second most in team history.

2--100 yard rushers: Marshawn Lynch and Robert Turbin. That's the first time the Seahawks have done that since Shaun Alexander and Maurice Morris both topped the century mark in 2005.

284--Seahawks rushing yards, the fourth most in team history, and most since Alexander and Morris lead Seattle to 320 in that 2005 game against Houston.

8--Victories this season for the Seahawks guaranteeing that they will have at least a .500 record for the first time under Carroll.

1,266--Rushing yards this season by Marshawn Lynch, a new career high, topping the 1,204 he had last season. Lynch averaged 11.6 yards per carry Sunday on the way to his seventh 100-yard game this season.

20--Touchdown passes this season by Russell Wilson, making him one of five rookie QBs in NFL history to hit that mark. Peyton Manning's rookie record of 26 is very much in reach for Wilson with three games remaining.

1--Interception thrown by Wilson at home this season. He had yet to throw one at CenturyLink before Patrick Peterson made a diving catch on a second-quarter pass intended for Golden Tate. That was also Wilson's first interception since Seattle's loss in Detroit last month.
