Reader poll: eighth at the break (updated)

UPDATED: We're good to go!

---

We're a week away from the WHL's Christmas break, which is the unofficial midpoint of the season. As things currently stand, the Tips and the Prince George Cougars are engaged in a battle for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference. Everett is in eighth with 26 points. Prince George is two points behind, but has played four fewer games.

Everett has three games remaining before the break, a visit to Tri-City on Tuesday followed by a home-and-home set with Portland on the weekend. Prince George has four games, entertaining Swift Current before concluding with three games in three nights against Vancouver, including travel between Friday's and Saturday's games.

So where will the Tips find themselves as they head home for Christmas?
