3231 Creatives, a creative incubator in Everett, invites the public to its Fashion Upcycling Reception, Party and Fashion Show on Thursday.

The event showcases 3231 Creatives' fashion recycled designs, its artists and its do-it-yourself studios. The fashion show may be the highlight of the evening, with selections from Love Letter Clothing and Kimberly Schladetsky Designs.

There will also be demonstrations on do-it-yourself weaving by Jenni Ross.

Guests can get free wardrobe consultations in which experts will show how to take clothing you already have and turn it into fashion showstoppers, 3231 Creatives says.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Thursday with the fashion show starting at 7 p.m. at 3231 Creatives, 3231 Broadway, Everett.

The event is free, though nonperishable food items are being collected for the Everett Girls & Boys Club dinner program, which feeds an average of 100 kids each night.

In addition, from noon to 8 p.m. Dec. 15, 3231 Creatives will host a Holiday Bazaar Party and Art Walk where 25 local artists will sell their wares at holiday prices. There will also be family-friendly activities, live music and do-it-yourself crafting.
