If you are wishing your Christmas was just a little more country, than wish no more.

Historic Everett Theatre is hosting a down-home style "Ho-Ho-Hometown Hootenany" so you can get your fill of contemporary country holiday favorites, along with traditional carols and music that gets the whole family into the Christmas swing.

One of the featured performers is Tim Noah, an Emmy-Award winning songwriter who has made his mark entertaining children with original music but has since been branching out and changing up his style to appeal to a wider audience.

Kids can still enjoy his music, however, and for the Hootenany, Noah will perform some of his original Christmas songs.

Also on the bill will be Real Folk performing Old World carols and a couple of Peter, Paul and Mary-inspired tunes.

Northern Departure performs upbeat bluegrass arrangements of holiday songs along with some traditional bluegrass favorites.

The audience will be treated at the end of the program to Christmas songs with a country flair that include "Please Come Home for Christmas," "Run, Run Rudolph" and "Milk and Cookies" as performed by the Hometown Band with guest vocalist Jim Brunkhorst.

"Ho-Ho-Hometown Hootenanny" begins at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby, Everett.

Tickets are $16.50, $13 and $5, available at the door, online at brownpapertickets.com or at 425-258-6766.
