PORTLAND, Ore. -- Authorities have released the official causes of death for the victims and suspect in Tuesday's rampage at a suburban Portland mall.
A release issued Thursday night by the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office says the autopsies of the three were completed by the Oregon Medical Examiner's Office.
According to the report, 45-year-old Steven Mathew Forsyth died of a single gunshot wound to the head, and 54-year-old Cindy Ann Yuille died of a single gunshot wound to the back. The alleged shooter, Jacob Tyler Roberts, known as Jake, died of a self-inflicted gunshot to the head, officials said. Toxicology results for Roberts are still pending.
Police said Roberts had several fully loaded magazines when he arrived at the mall and began firing randomly in the food court area.
A third person, 15-year-old Kristina Shevchenko was wounded and in serious condition Thursday.
