Which way do we go now?
Map quest: Booted three months ago when Apple updated its iPhone operating system, Google Maps is again available for iPhones, a return hailed by users who have panned Apple's attempt at a navigation app after it misplaced landmarks, overlooked towns and misdirected travelers.
Apple hasn't given up on its Maps app, and recently perfected the directions it gives when users search for "find rear end with both hands."

At least it's still under warranty: The CEO for Qatar Airways clearly was upset when the airline's third Boeing 787 was grounded at London's Heathrow airport midway through its delivery flight because of a faulty generator. "They have to get their act together very fast, because we at Qatar Airways will not accept any more defects," Akbar Al Baker said of Boeing.
Maybe now isn't the best time to tell Mr. Al Baker that Boeing subcontracted the Dreamliner's navigation systems to Apple's Maps team.

One toke over the line: With the state's legalization of possession of marijuana -- for those 21 and older -- parents are being advised to have a talk with their teens about the law and pot in general.
The discussion could get a little uncomfortable for those parents who choose to imbibe while telling their kids they shouldn't. But they can always use the line their own parents used on them: Do as I say, not as I doobie.
