SNOHOMISH — A 35-year-old man from Snohomish died Friday morning from injuries suffered in a crash, officials said.
The accident was reported around 4:30 a.m. on the OK Mill Road, southeast of Lake Stevens, Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.
The road was closed between Creswell Road and Price Road while detectives with the Snohomish County Collision Investigation Unit were examining the scene.
Investigators believe speed contributed to the accident, Ireton said. The man was thrown from the car during the crash and died at the scene.
Identification of the victim, as well as cause and manner of death, will be determined by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.
