Both overtime periods were set up by buzzer-beaters. The first, at the end of the fourth quarter, when Chargers junior Kaleb Seymer nailed a 24-foot jumper to tie the game 57-57 at the end of regulation. The second overtime was forced when the Seagulls' Reece Hoiby hit a 3-pointer.
After that Jordan would take over.
"Elijah hit a couple threes in double overtime," said Marysville Getchell head coach Corby Schuh. "He made a few key free throws, I believe he went five-for-five combined in both overtimes."
Along with his scoring output Jordan added eight rebounds and five steals.
Schuh also pointed out the defensive key to his teams hard-fought victory.
"We wanted to focus on (Jace) Chacon," said Schuh. "He's a real good player. He ended up fouling out in the fourth and that helped us out. After that we just played pressure man d and pulled ahead."
