Agreement only on doing nothing

It's too bad the 535 "decision challenged" people who preside over the totally inept 112th Congress cannot bring themselves to do what is in the best interests of our country. Instead, while they speak of compromise, they are truly the most politically polarized Congress in recent memory. The 2010 congressional mandate to cut spending and reduce taxes has failed miserably. Their indecision on how to best reduce our huge deficits will surely lead to another recession. With this in mind how are we to expect anything more from a Congress who continually plays the "blame game"?
Looming ahead in early 2013, the country faces another challenging crisis with the debt ceiling and more drastic cuts placing our national security in jeopardy.
Hopefully, leaders from both parties will reconcile their differences before the USA plunges over the "fiscal cliff."
