EVERETT -- A man upset about construction noise in Everett on Friday reportedly struck the construction site manager with his car after the two got into an argument.

It happened about 7:30 a.m. Friday in the 2400 block of Wetmore Avenue, according to the arrest affidavit.

The man, 41, of Everett, stopped by the site to complain about the noise, court papers show. He became aggressive and started yelling and cursing at the site manager.

The manager began to write down the man's license plate number, and the man became enraged.

He reportedly drove his car into the manager, causing knee and back injuries.

The man later was arrested at his home and booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of hit-and-run and second-degree assault.
